With new interns starting this monday, a lot of introducing and story telling about my work was done. One french colleague asked me about internet sharing in our apartment complex and because I’ll be leaving in 2 weeks I said he should talk to some people or hang up a fly in the elevator and thats what he did.
An impulse buy got me a new lense for my canon 450D. Those are my current ones.
The first day in like 2 weeks with some sun and I had to eat my lunch on my very small balcony but it felt like summer already.
As a start into the weekend I was going to see a soccer game at pub in munich, where I got called on for not knowing the right word for a “Hefe-Weizen” beer in bavaria.
The German system of pledging on bottles of water and other non-acoholic drinks gave me an almost free shopping today.
When I was checking on my car on my first day back in Munich I came across the ad for a new album by the german folk rock band “in extremo”. Unfortunately aren’t they yet on spotify and their concert is on the same day as the bachelor party of a good friend.
On my train drive back to munich I had some time to catch up the the academy awards show and the Baftas. For the first time I realized that “Helena Bonham Carter” played a great supporting role in this years über-winner “The Kings speech” but also in “alice in worderland” and harry potter in previous years. Sadly, I have not yet seen a movie with her in a leading role.
While I was writing the bachelor thesis in Munich I had to make a final presentation at the University in Magdeburg. After the presentation I got my grade and that was also my final grade in my bachelor study. Afterwards my friends who had been sitting in with the presentation told me that I didn’t show any emotion.
Today I was having a photo shoot with a local uprising band from Burg. “Tremendous Speed Monkeys”. In their rehearsal room I had to shoot this pic of their mixer.

Today I went out with some friends to a bar tour through out Magdeburg. In one bar we had the pleasure to listen to a Beatles Cover band.
